Selling them for 3 bucks requires being able to use the Steam Community Marketplace; I hit the market limit back in May so I can't sell anything until 2016.

I got one for $1.75 due to a fluke and got this

I wasn't exactly intending to pay for keys either

i see the sniper icon on the bottom of the gun

The camo pattern actually contains all 9 class icons (and a spycrab)

It's a really nice skin...but it's not strange, so

why did keys drop in value

i'm gonna amass a bunch of cases from contracts over the course of this campaign just to splurge on keys in like 2 months and unbox everything

I got a concealed case!

Would it be smart to sell it now or wait later?

the second wave of crates came in today, so the prices dropped really hard

 - Fixed The Wrangler not properly disabling Sentries for 3 seconds on Engineer death
 - Fixed a case where textures and models would fail to load on maps with embedded resources
 - Fixed an exploit related to instantly completing a payload map while taunting and picking up dropped weapons

So looks like maps should work properly now you can't do this anymore
