think of it kinda like strange
haunted quality items can only be found in crates or curse piles.
it's "limited edition", kind of. It doesn't affect the item at all except for it's rarity (like genuine)

strange has a difference though, they track stats
it's more comparable to vintage (or like you said, genuine)
