Don't worry, they're not too valuable. If you buy two keys you can get like 3 or 4 hats from a trading site.

I crafted my soldier's stash and demoman's fro and got the waxy wayfinder (a few hours after release, had no idea this was even in the game)
I owned one craft hat that was <100 at the time
got me a handsome price
