from what i saw he was just holding the mouse button and the soldier accidentally blew himself up
I didn't hear any airblast sound, i may be wrong though

I was going to airblast him for a flare punch, but I got one of those lucky reflects.

You could replace the Reserve shooter with the shotgun for better firepower.
