TF2center is now opening up registration to 'Advanced Lobbies' for all those interested. It's a paid (1€ a month or a key for 2 months) service similar to regular lobbies, but for much more experienced players, with a much more enforced punishment system. You also need to qualify to apply to the beta, which you need to be: at least on a Steel team, within the top 20% of http://beta.tf2playerrankings.com/ and have not caused any trouble in regular lobbies such as excessive ragequitting or bans.

Neat stuff, anyone else going to be taking part or try to?

so you can be in invite yet not allowed to do this... nice. Also this just plain looks bad.

that's probably the worst shot to make a teaser of

anyways:

so you can be in invite yet not allowed to do this... nice. Also this just plain looks bad.

If you are invite, but don't play lobbies in general, then you probably wont be interested in this to begin with. You also never gave any insight as to what makes it bad...so...? I'd honestly like to hear it because I'm not really seeing the downside here. It's for people who want consistent lobbies at a higher level, those not interested aren't affected in the slightest and they plan to help competitive TF2 as a whole with some of the proceeds.

Also, in the FAQ they went over that they were trying to find more ways of allowing people that can't pass the easy check of steel+ and ranking, to get in as well. With that said, with the completed product I'm sure any Invite player will be let in.

why would you loving pay to play a glorified lobby... pug groups exist for a reason lmao, plus if the skill floor is steel+ it's still going to be awful. i just can't imagine a world where i'd want this unless matchmaking is a flop... and even then.

my heavy is also a part time stripper

solly contest
let the games begin

Detonator vs. Shotgun is such a hard decision for Pyro

I love being able to reach places I shouldn't be or take shortcuts as well as easily annoy Spies and Snipers from a distance, but the Shotgun's damage output and easy Pyro counter is just so good
