I haven't heard much of the actual Slenderman meme, although suffice to say this is yet another skew in line with SCP-087-B: There is a story. Someone makes a game about the story not completely following the details. Someone else makes a game only based off the previous already skewed game further skewing the original idea. My point: You can have your scary -just don't complicate the meaning of the idea with original and skewed versions - call it something else. |
