Let me guess: You didn't even test this one, either.
It works perfectly.

Could be made with Zonebricks but this is much simpler, I love this.
If you mean the existing add-ons, ZoneBricks and ZoneEvents, then in my experience, entering a zone and then leaving it very shortly after will register OnPlayerEnterZone, but not OnPlayerLeaveZone. This event actually relies on OnPlayerTouch to work, and will never fail to activate.

public bricks
please tell me you're joking
that won't work.

uh

then idk...
Stay on the server but go afk?

holy crap what?
i didn't know this
this is awesome

Oh yea, I remember old event OnPlayerTouchStart and OnPlayerTouchStop was back around v8, now they are long gone. I missed them.
You mean with Space Guy's old events? Before v9?

A new version has been released. The new version includes another event which is triggered when there are no longer any players touching the brick.
v2, 8/25/12:
  • Added new event, OnNoPlayersTouchingBrick
  • Updated download link

Can we have Event_OnSeveralButNotAllPlaye rsCompletelyOrPartiallyTouchi ngBrickOrBrickAboveThisBrick?

Neato event, thanks.

Sorry, I couldn't think of a shorter name that accurately described it.

How about onNoPlayerTouch or onNoTouch?

How about onNoPlayerTouch or onNoTouch?
Hmmm....
Actually, that one works well. Maybe when I was brainstorming names I was also having a creativity drought.
Updating now, for the sake of better names..

Onplayerleave?
onplayeruntouch?
