Should Badspot add more building layers?

Lava doesn't have it's own 'layer'.
There's normal bricks and water bricks.

Why does something functional have to be original?
We should've called the duplicator "the omega copier" and give a bunch of spikes cause it's not original enough.
Like really. How do you make a new building layer original? Unless you don't understand the topic or something.
