Blockland crashing whenever I place a brick.

I'm in Rio for vacation, on a Xp, but whenever I place a single block, my Blockland crashes. any idea how to fix this?

Try to replace a brick with shadows off.

Didn't work. I already tried reinstalling Blockland, that didn't work either.
