Anyways, I had made a randomization system for weapons that still works. If anyone wants the math here it is.
Damage = Y*-2 < X*Y < Y*2
Y = Type Variance
X = Core Weapon Damage
Each weapon type(Copper, Iron, etc) has a set variance.
Let's talk about the Oak Bow.
Standard bows have a 9 core damage.
Oak is a 1.5 variance.
The Base Damage is is 13.5
The Bow's damage is somewhere inbetween 10.5 and 16.5.
Why?
The Oak variance allows the damage to go down by 3 max (1.5*-2) and go up by 3 max (1.5*2).
The damage is then chosen from this range and granted to the player.
