Trees and weather are planned. Last time i hosted i was waiting for a good time to restart the server, but it was fairly busy for the whole time, so i couldn't really get into the weather. Although i did get a good plan for how it will work. Just start with large bricks for the general shape of the area, then go down a size and go over it in a bit more detail, repeat until the size is good enough. Don't go too detailed, else it will take ages. I'm sticking at 8x cubes. What height you use is an option too, i used half height bricks because they're not too steep ramps. Once you got the map planned in cubes, go over everything from the bottom up in ramps, trying to hide as much as the cube as possible. It is possible to have a perfectly smoothed map, however some places cannot be smoothed perfectly. If you want you can pop into the server and have a look. Also, sever going up soon, but not for long. Edit: Actually, nvm. Server will be up tomorrow unless lazyness takes over. |
