Yay, epic progress outside of the server, and even a little inside. First of all, i fixed the DayCycles events, so they work after loading. Then afterwards i made a SetTime event in the EnvControl Event pack. This allows me to make it morning when the games begin, and even make GameMaker things which keep it night, or whatever. Gonna be fun. |

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuu I just did a fair bit of work, got the first Game Maker Trap done, was lovey, did a tonne to the terrain, was looking real good. Thought "Whu oh, i better save soon, just to be safe." Start saving, part way through, "Blockland has stopped working". Rehost server, 4k bricks saved, i had 20k. I have a backup, but its old. Ragequit. |

Bump. The previous post about rage-quitting was a temporary solution to my rage. The project has been resurrected, and i am remaking everything that broke, which was mainly the terrain. The terrain is being completely redone. The arena is now round, and will be made either with cubescaping, or brickscaping. More probably cubescapes. Either way, VoX is removed from lead terrainer until i work out a style, and then either teach him again or find someone else, or maybe even do it myself if i'm that productive.. Anyway, I was hoping to get a little more interest in this, but as usual, I seem to lack something in my projects.. Any help would be great right around now. Maybe i should ask a clan (there's that terraining clan, right?) to help out with the arena... |
