In halo 3 you made friends with a different faction of the elites, these elites are treasureres

If you have an Xbox Live account you could just recover it on his Xbox, only takes a few minutes.
EDIT: I'd also like to point out that my Spartan looks like a Gundam character.
It looks more like it in game, trust me.
