Long story short:
Badspot found a error in the add-on and Munkey fixed it but didn't upload the version yet because Rusty still makes new hats. Munkey removed the download link to avoid it being CRC'd.

Error spam and loop problems. IIRC, it had an exponentially increasing loop.
