bedroom
ive talked to people thatre all "omg no tis is so grose wat if my mome sees" when i show them a video with loveual references
seriously i cant imagine how itd feel to have to constantly watch if someones coming when im doing stuff
I feel the same way but whenever I'm in a situation (usually vacation) where I'm in a visible place on a laptop it loving SUCKS and I feel their pain.

Both computers right out in the middle of everything. In one house it's nicer cause it's upstairs and everyone else stays downstairs cause that's where everything else is.

In my room, recently reformatted to clean out the rest of my brother's stuff and to add Windows 7.
No more downstairs staring down the sun with a terrible glare to top it off.

My bedroom, right next to my bed.

just moved my computer from my bedroom to my dorm room

Living room.
Facing the entrance from the kitchen.

My dad just fixed the WIFI adapter thing so my PC was taken upstairs so we can have more than one computer active.

the thing i dislike about having my computer in somewhere public is that my mom comments on half the things i do. :/

LETS ALL SAY VULGAR STUFF AND POST ALMOST NUDE PICS

Bedroom. I use a little thing I made to make the screen go black when ever someone comes in the room (a usb connection + button near my foot. boom)
That sounds like the stupidest thing ever.

Let's imagine you're on your computer in your bedroom, viewing something that your parents wouldn't want you to see.
Your door opens, your parent walks in, you press your foot down, your screen goes black, your parent sees you sat at your computer with a black screen doing nothing at all. (and let's imagine it was something naughty you were watching, and you happen to be sat in an unusual stance...)

Definitely not suspicious at all.

speaking of which it's annoying when my mom walks in the room just as i happen to be closing a tab i don't need and flips out

Oh my god, this so much.

My dad does this all the time.
But it's hard to tell if he's joking or not, because sometimes he'll just randomly walk in, or even after having watched what you're doing, he'll walk over and go "looking at research?". :/

yeah lemme link you to the sites i use, dad!

Occasionally I'll be reading a creepypasta, or listening to scary music, and my mom will walk in. I always jump, and she just gives me an awful look.

I jump every time my mom walks into my room regardless of what I'm doing and she's learned it's just a reflex (though what she doesn't know is that I developed it because I was almost always doing something I wouldn't want her to see) and doesn't pay attention now.

Once before she'd always notice I'd press page down when playing Blockland though.
