I didn't call it decent, I didn't say anything, but why is he hitting on me?
I don't think you're using "hitting on" correctly.

Heed should make a brick built terrain version of his Slope TDM.

Heh Heh.

gross. gsf terrain sucks and brick terrain aint efficient large scale.

if i'm gonna do a vehicle map it'd probably have to use water to make up for blockland's limitations

Like a Island Red vs. Blue?

That would be great!
(And if you ever do this, I would be glad to help out)

I have to say I agree. Servers nowadays simply aren't good anymore, both in build quality and gameplay. Even simple freebuilds were more fun a couple years ago than what we currently have now.

I remember playing Blockland before physics or events came around and having so much fun, I didn't know what server to join because most of them were actually good back then. Now, I don't know what server to join because none of them look like they would be remotely fun, and if I decide to take the time to test that theory, it usually comes out to be true.

I'm sure the fact that I have gotten older and have seen quite a bit of what Blockland has to offer doesn't help the situation, but no one can deny how bad most servers are now.

i'm pretty sure this is more because of a lack of innovation, a lack of good dedicated servers and an overall lack of anything really interesting happening

i mean as of right now the biggest things happening involve people being richards to eachother, and that's been going on for years

we should have a renaissance

gross. gsf terrain sucks
It wouldn't suck if the lazy scripters would get off their asses and remake Mission Editor to use algorithms for GSFGhost terrain.

Got nostalgia?

or we

used gsf terrain better

there should be an official bl rating group...

yeah, but remember that blocklanders are all biased as forget

which means we should find 4 or so equally-biased but oppositely-aligned people and all have them rate stuff simultaneously

A massive bl vote on a group of like ten or more people who review consistent servers and average out the score.  If enough people, (not the host), disagree then the server will be "re-review".

The biggest problem of course would be to find the most neutral and experienced players.

I am pulling all of this out of my ass though.

Because it's the job of scripters to script free things for other people to use.

Blockland Servers are be like toys, you play with them until you get bored of them.
When people try to make toys, they often think it is easy because they confuse imitation with innovation
