I'd classify carpetbanning as a Denial of Service attack

Also, don't say "ogm us adblok bich" because I hate Google Chrome, IE, and Firefox.

Do you have to be admin?
Sounds like a good idea.

^joking.
So you can crash servers with spam
I guess ban works good because it does so much and writes a file andstuff?

This has been around for a long time as a solution.

I think the ban manager is a ScriptObject that reads BANLIST.txt every time a person joins.

I think the ban manager also checks the time for every tick and then unbans after the ban length is over.

When they use it and try to screw up someone's server, and someone else makes a topic about it - the starfish will get their key revoked.

You probably don't need to make a topic, since bans might be sent to the master server.

Good solution, but apply Awdax's and my info.

Conservative:

Slick's, or DrenDran's add-on needs to be more noticeable

someone submit one of them to RTB

Lugnut:

what the hell are you talking about

bans aren't sent to the master server
