It's late for most of the US. It's midnight on the east coast and 8 on the west coast. 10 right in the middle.

Its only like 7 here. xD
I said no because with a 16x16 chunks everyone is forced to be close to eachother. It would be really easy to be killed. And I don't like having a limit on how far i can travel.
