did that happen in the original? I remember just fighting a few waves and the tank coming, then being done with it.

I don't understand what the big dealio with the voice acting is, the Marines have actually pretty believable voices imo.

I'm not sure. I didn't play all the way through HL1. I got really badly stuck at the beginning of Apprehension.
Also, I just noticed something. Now that I have beat BM:S, I want to play it again.
So apparently this game has loads of replay value. :o

The questionable research projects are cool. I also really like the beginning since you just walk around and mess with people.
