Easier Daycycles Tool

Making custom daycycles is loving hard. It should just be (or there should be some tool for it to be) like this-
1. Select color for dawn
2. Select color for daytime
3. Select color for noon
4. Select color for night
5. It automatically transitions between those colors. Ability to put things inbetween dawn, daytime, noon, and night would also be helpful.
Anyone up for making something like that?
