How can I make my server less boring, yet still have players?

This is slightly off-topic but I just wanted to rant about it.

I had my family RP up and there was one other person on it. I was afk, and then I thought I wanted to shut down. So I said I would shut down, and the other person screamed "NO DONT" like usual. Now normally, when people get mad at me for wanting to shut down, there's a lot of people. But there was literally JUST me and them, which I said. They proceeded to say "IDC" to every point I made. Eventually I just said "SHUT UP OR I'LL BAN YOU" essentially and shut down.

That's the bad thing about family RPs, they attract a LOT of idiots.

If people are whining and leaving, sucks to be them.

If they don't like that you want to change something on your server, then stop hosting, because there's nothing to do.

You're basically asking "How do I make something work that's impossible to work?"

okay, either i or you are getting something wrong, what i hear is that shy cannot get into an rp and does not want to be in a family

Most people (besides people who go on RP servers) like stuff that people don't do alot that is challenging and fun. Challenges, death runs, death races, throwmod, and most RPG servers get alot of players every single time. Especially challenges and death runs. If you do one of those, people will come to your server and stay if it is well made.
