Requirements (from what I know)
This converter-majig
Chrome
GIMP
FRAPS

1 - Close all current browsers
2 - Open a new chrome window
3 - Find your video
4 - Set the quality
5 - Record with FRAPS
6 - Use the converter, and set up the settings for the clip
Exampe:

7 - Export the gif
8 - Open GIMP
9 - Edit the Canvas Size, and use that to trim the footage you want to use.

10 - Once satisfied with Canvas change. Resize down to proper size
(in my case, 100x100)
11 - Upload to whatever needed
