What I'm talking about, is this-

This would go well with RPGs, Zombie Apocalypse gamemodes, and anything else that needs something like this.
EDIT-And as for how much space an object takes up, there should be a line of code inside of a file that tells how much, and whether the item is stackable like items in minecraft.
This is the revamped idea I have.
I'm sure we've all been to a server where we have to roleplay something, and I'm talking more about the combat/inventory-oriented roleplay servers more than anything else.
Basically, I think there should be an "RPG" Gamemode-Something like slayer, but not quite.
Features of the gamemode-
-Custom team or class creation, can be restricted to server only.
-Role-assignment, and features of that role.
-Leaders, or not.
-etc, gimme a few more days to work this out.
-GUI player events-This is not like normal brick events, but instead it would be a GUI with the normal events screen, but with actions for the player that allow for a greater customization of roles.
-Grid stlyed(see above quote), or any other style of inventories.
-Crafting?
-Objectives(Can be fixed with GUI events, like a TDM, where {objectiveis}{killplayer}{target}{player, team or role}{and what happens next goes here.} Horrible example, I'll work on it.'
-Turn based battles-
+Multiple battles can be fought at once
+2 teams go at it
+2 people go at it, using the other players as their fighters, like nobles have knights fight for them
-Hierarchy, such as generals and whatnot. They can actually set objectives on a map through an event, icons on map are visible to that team only and can help with capturing points.
-Event Effects
+Click on a brick, it can combine or do something with the items in your inventory and you could get a new weapon
I know this would require a clientside to work, or at least the whole package.
Alternatives to this would be a text menu that works for those without the package, or a text menu for everyone, which would probably be a living hell.
And I also know this would probably require a massive amount of coding as well...
Water and oil mod AKA resources mod
Water Mod.
It's simple, it is just a water interaction mod where you can drain, evaporate, boil, and freeze water.
Some tools and bricks you would have for it-
-Bucket
-Bottles(large, medium, small)
-Purifier
-Portable Purifier
-tank(large medium small)
Oil Mod(extension of Gas Mod)
Imagine setting down a brick or spawn, or finding an entity in a map that would allow you to set down a small oil drill and start drilling?
Of course, in order to contain the oil, you would need an oil tank, and in order to refine it, a refinery.
Now once the oil has been converted to gas, you can use it to refill a modifed gas can similar to the one Gcat made.
also natural gas can be a good alternative resource.

I've got an idea for "resource bricks" that allow for a better interaction with events and whatnot.
Resource events can be used to make working contraptions, but a brick such as a generator can "power(kind of like logic bricks, onpower, offpower, etc.)" other bricks, which would be through code instead.
Items, vehicles(Gas mod and gas can), players can work with all of these.
Even demian's Food bricks would be great for it.
