TLDR of it, IGN bigwig tweets something to the effect of 'IGN links are banned from /r/leagueoflegends (actually all of reddit), how stuffty is that?'

Mods check the validity of the claim and learn that the IGN domain is banned for vote cheating, using dozens of accounts to upvote their own material.

Not only is their content stuffty, they used vote bots to get their links higher up on reddit.

IGN is one of the few big-name game review sites, so I still watch their videos.

I don't care whether or not the reviews are good or not, it shows gameplay and has some weird dude talking about how much the most popular game of the month sucks.
