Was there a practical reason to change from the old one?

Is the new one magnetic?

the new one is "faster"

Is the new one magnetic?
I think so, because It looks a lot like the MacBook charger, and that one is magnetic.

that'd be a nice feature to have, but its really not worth having an entirely different charger now

Why can't Apple put loving 4G on the iPod Touch?
That's the only reason I want a loving iPhone.

>finally getting 4G LTE
>.5" bigger screen
>finally not all-glass
>better front camera
>thinner

yeah now it's actually worth $199.

The old one was big.  Now they can relocate the headphone jack to the bottom.

Eh, Samsung and many other android phone companies are already way ahead of Apple when it comes to phones, I don't see the hype with this.

They're always making the processor better too, I don't know why people keep forgetting that. Oh yeah that's because bandwaggoners love to nit pick all the details. "Omg is sam tin agen lol iphun sux adrod mstr raec"

OT:
More useless junk apple put out.

Personally I think that the little fingerprint matcher thing is the one actually like, new and innovative thing. Everything else is just "ooh, its like 15mm taller.." "ooh, its slightly thinner..." nothing that really appeases me.

I feel this is relevant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y15NnGZIBuM

>Processor is up to 2x faster
>Facetime over LTE
>LTE
>Longer battery life, because processor is efficient
>Its taller (*I could care less truly) and thinner
>Better charger
>8MP camera
>Retina display (old but still great, no other phone has it)

*The phone was meant to fit in your hand really nicely, and you can reach your thumb around every corner of the phone. Phones like the Samsung Galaxy S III is like putting a goddamn tablet to your face, which is ridiculously stupid and inefficient for one hand operation.

8MP camera? The galaxy S2 and S3 already beat Apple to that.
And I own a Galaxy S2 which is very similar in size to the S3 and I've had no issues with it being too big at all.

The thing is with iPhones, once you have one, you don't need another phone for years. Sure people love to upgrade them, but I can't see myself getting a new phone when my contract expires.
