Normally when you traceroute from a residential connection your first hop will be an IP in the ISPs non-global IP space as the IMCP packet returns to your host tagged with that IP. This allows the ISP to run more than 256 hosts in a class C subnet. This means a traceroute won't help you find your router. Nice try though, amateur.

Yes, I have a Cisco dpq2160, and a apple time Capsel the converts the rougher to wireless signal. I am on a laptop, so I use this signal.
