if an add-on is severely broken/easily abusable it gets crc'd

What about VCE?

With two lines of events, you can crash someone.

people have used bot events to abuse TONS of times, and it's what's used in the "fungusamongus" prank or whatever you want to call it

I never implied that the world revolved around me.

Ok, then don't let freebuilds host it. But some servers rely on it, whether it's abusable or not,it doesn't change the fact that some servers need to use it because not everyone can use Blender or Torque to make an entirely new vehical/npc.

Exactly
And if mods get banned because they are abusable, then events should be cut altogether.
Mr.Noßody:
Last I checked, Bot events can’t crash you. Lag you yes, but anything can lag you if used in bulk.
Also, if hosts were irresponsible to have serious issues with Bot Events, they should not have had them on in the first place.

It boils down to hosting responsibility. I never had any issue with Bot events because I knew what to do when bots got out of hand.
There was a /clearbots command to stop any unwanted activity.
