i think a good reason is because things like stalactites would look better if the bottom texture was instead the stud texture |

Just take out some static shapes, grab the lag, hammer it down, then clear everything, taking all lag with it, then load build, put a really super massive mirror above it, and... boom! You have an instant upside down build |
