Was this a joke?
Blockland's Demo and the game itself are the same thing, they are not two different programs

Yeah but usually the demo is a seperate game, in order to even download the game at all you need to buy it.

Or you need to have the demo downloaded in order to play the full game

You boot up into demo mode if blockland doesn't find a valid key.

uh

no you don't

uh.
Guys, I think it was a joke.

How is badspot going implement were we can have blockland on greenlight since we already bought the game.

How is Badspot going to implement that we can download Blockland on Steam since we already bought the game.
FTFY I think?

The game will probably be free, but you need to purchase a separate key to be authorized.

My guess is Games > Activate a Product on Steam... and you put in your serial.

No, doesn't quite work like that.
That only works with keys that haven't been used yet.
When BF2 was picked up on steam, the keys that players had used from their hard copies couldn't be redeemed.
And, valve doesn't have control over blockland keys. They didn't make anything for the copy you bought either.

When I bought some of my retail games (non-valve games) they asked if I wanted actiavte them on steam.
Valve didn't make anything from that, so shut your food hole.

No one can ever know. Valve really doesn't tell anybody until shortly before they announce it.

And even more annoyingly they seem to have no pattern to when they greenlight (just as when they greenlight games).
Sometimes it's once a month, and sometimes less than a month.

I swear they either have no proper team for controlling Steam Greenlight at all, or they just really like to piss around with schedules and rules.

But, being Valve, it's likely the latter.
