1. Is this the normal macbook pro? yes because those are the old crappy specs
2. half of the stuff there is personal preference either way
3. 2 hour battery life isn't for me LOL

Then go with a different Windows laptop. Look at Asus or Lenovo for starters, or Alienware (but go with extended warranty plans as always with all laptops)
