Ok. Um. Pro tip. Don't modify the Burst Laser Mk. II to fire 9 shots and be incredibly damaging. It may work good for you, but what happens when the enemy uses that weapon?

The one you unlock by getting to sector 5?
If so than just use your drone on every fight and disable their weapons.
