Without sensors, you won't see if there's a fire in systemless rooms, and if unchecked, it's going to spread to the entire ship, and by then it'll be too late to vacuum it out. |

If it's dead fire doesn't matter. If he'd repaired the oxygen or sensors he would have lost. I know they matter, but not as much as weapons. |

Especially if they have missiles, and the flagship has four. Even if it's not a very big fire, left unchecked, it will spread, and forget you over. |

I've had my sensors go down, I was repairing weapons, and then as my crew pass through the ship, they walk through stuffloads of fire destroying my ship. That's why I find my sensors essential - I need to know if I'm dying. Even in the final boss, I want to make sure I can make it at least to a jump. |
