We already have ranks.
Also Vya's femur is no longer broken and he now gets $1000+ for hazard pay with each paycheck.

Man I love the military.

Ranks are taken care of Deoxys.
"Two Flankers down."
I keep flying patrol, waiting for the others to finish up.
"Talon flight, remain in patrol."

I switch to my 82s, and drop a few, targets hit. "Two hits confirmed,"

I spot one of the targeted solar plants, and weave through flak explosions and streams of AA fire to make my run. "Three, coming in hot." As I begin my dive, I pop my air brakes and pull the throttle back. The bombing reticle comes into my HUD, and I put it over the center target. "Bombs away." Mk. 82 warheads drop onto the facility, destroying it and the solar panels around it. "Scratch one plant, good effect on target."

By the way, are you doing standard Air Force rankings or Army rankings?

Air Force.

((I think the starting ranks are a bit too high, replace 2nd Lt. with Senior Airman, 1st Lt. with Master Sergeant. Col. keep their ranks.))

Heon takes out 3 more SAM sites with the same missile evasive action. Meanwhile, at a solar plant, Sýntrofos, the crow, cracks a solar panel with his beak. It takes a little while, but the glass breaks eventually. He then gets started on another panel.

You have to be an officer to fly.
So no, they're not too high.

Ah. I guess it will be a little harder than it should be with getting a promotion.

Wait, what's the first officer rank?

"Foxclaw 1-5 (filler), how many SAMS left?"

Heon starts to head for some more SAMS looking smug there on the battlefield.

"There's - oh, crap, a missilphfffffffffffffffffffff ffffff"

As he hears the static, he sees only a burning plane sprialing down where Foxclaw 1-5 once was.

"Foxclaw 1-1, this is 1-9, 1-5 down."

He decides to declerate and let loose a Paveway, decimating a group of SAMs bunched together.

Meanwhile, Sýntrofos breaks the 5th panel he attacked, with a sound of glass breaking. Suddenly, a flurry of bullets fly at Sýntrofos. None of them hit the crow, but he still retreats back to Heon's plane.

Wait what.
"Sky Eye. Heon, leave the crow at base next mission. We can't risk him getting killed."
I keep circling, destroying anti aircraft guns because I loving can.

((Aw.))

"Sýntrofos, your going to have to get back to base. Sorry."

Sýntrofos obeys, flying back to the airbase.

((Also, what do you mean 'we'? I thought it was Heons crow.))

The final 10 SAMs come in sight, firing missiles abound.

They all seem in range of the Paveway, so I drop another. "Bomb dropped!" Strangely, 3 survive.

I fire another missile. "Fox 2!"

And another.

And then another.

No more SAMs.

"Foxclaw 1-9, SAM sites destoryed."

((He's kinda your pet and if he gets killed, then you go into depression mode and then we all do and yeah. He can stay at base but it's too risky on missions.))

Kinda like how I lost my Co-Pilot/WSO at beginning of RP.
