It's not THAT much like the more circular lego minifigures. I'm sure it would not cause copyright issues, otherwise Mega Blox and Playmobil would have been sued HARD.

Yet another reason these need to come back with some minor modifications.

Maybe as an official OR unofficial add-on, perhaps.
I like the rayman-esque minifigs as well :(

I like them too it's just that they are a bit ERGH when it comes to suits, astronauts, armor, ect.
