My client is resource intensive beyond anything logical
KoopaScooper:
I think the overclock in this case is what's causing the absurd heat, Blockland only pushes my card to 56C, and my CPU to 43C, which is typical for any somewhat intensive 3D program this computer runs.
does your case have any form of cooling system in place (how many fans does it have, do you have liquid cooling?)

This makes me think that the fan is possibly clogged with dust; when's the last time you've dusted it out?
Though I don't see how that would affect CPU load

I already stated that my shaders are completely off.

I've only overclocked my shaders by 17 Hz, but the memory does have a boost of around 200 which I'm going to lower. I've been running an overclock for a long time though and only recently has this happened. If I run Blockland for long enough my room will smell like overheated electronics.

I've never dusted it seeing as I don't have an air blaster, but again this is a very recent development.

Noedit: I only have one case fan that isn't near the GPU, but I'm not sure how much it would help. My GPU has about a centimeter of clearance between it and my soundcard.

Compressed air is pretty cheap, you can find it at most specialty stores.

Ouch. That doesn't leave much room for airflow.
There are plenty of guides to lowering computer temperatures, Google exists.
