Torchlight 1 was an amazingly fun game, some people like it better than diablo but it's very similar from what I can tell (never played diablo).
You really should try borderlands 2, even though it's tons of fun with 2+ people it's still really fun alone. Also if you like Mount & Blade preorder war of the roses, you get instant beta access and the combat is pretty much the same except modernized and more fast paced. Afaik it's going to be all MP, though, no single player campaign.

Well it came out recently, like within this week so.
I have the first borderlands, I just found it got boring when I wasn't duking it out with buddies.
I'll look into war of the roses it looked fun :U
It's not that I'm against all things multiplayer its that often there is no teamwork or the community is stuff.
So it just kind of makes this unfun lonewolf kind of play.
