This is your current inventory.

Go to the shop and buy some invisibility potions.

This one doesn't sell any of those!

Darn.  Watch the house for activity.  If any of them leave or fall asleep, take note, and then, using your claws, heroically rescue your master!

buy a speed potion pls!

holy loving stuff
this one solitary instance of time in Dalore's universe has needed a full week of debate in real time
and we still haven't reached a solid conclusion

you have 9000G.
you have three inventory spots (bag), and one inventory spot (default).

here's what you need and why:

Water (1 liter) (100G) - basic survival. store it in your default inventory space, because if you loose your bag you don't want to loose it as well.

Map (1000G) - direction. this eliminates the need of a compass (why would N S E W be necessary anyways?). put the quill and book in your bag and keep the map in the default inv, you can't loose this either.

Health Potion (100G) - if you go anywhere and there turns out not to be a shop, this can be used in almost any instance. put it in the remaining bag spot.

Remedy Potion (150G) - may not seem incredibly useful, but it's cheaper than most of the others. cram it in the bag with the other potion, it should fit.

Hammer (500G) - remove the wrench from the inventory and sell it (or throw it out). the hammer was built for construction and will also function as a weapon, making it a lot more versatile.

LEAVE THE LAST BAG SLOT OPEN, we don't know what you'll find out there and if it comes in handy, you'll just be throwing money down the drain.

reasons for not getting the speed potion:
a. attempting to apprehend the enemies is not smart. charging into wherever with little to no knowledge of what's going wont help, neither will being any faster.
b. the thing is expensive for how much you have at the moment. soon you'll be expect to have hundreds of thousands of dollars, and this potion is not worth as much as it is here.
c. assuming camera lets the remedy potion slide, the speed potion definitely won't fit. and don't even think about using that last slot.

BALANCE:
9000G
- 100G [Water (1 liter)]
8900G
- 1000G (Map)
7900G
- 100G (Health P.)
- 150G (Remedy P.)
7650G
- 500G (Hammer)
7150G
+ wrench (selling)

OVERALL:
7150G + wrenchG

your inventory:
DEFAULT: anchor, hammer, water (1 liter), map, EMPTY
BAG: quill, book, health+remedy potion combo

now get on with the story for the doctor's sake!

^^^^^^^^^^ALL OF MY THIS

You put the town map above the note that you used to map out your master's home.

Having some space still, you decide to leave the wrench, in case if you would need to tinker or unbolt objects. Seeing nothing else to do, you leave the store.

The gold coins were exchanged for the bought goods, and the hooded dragon stuffed them into his inventory. Taking account of what he gained, he nodded towards the dark-skinned shopkeeper and headed out the door. The man said farewell as it closed behind the dragon. So far, no one was able to figure out his true identity, and he’ll make sure it stays that way until his master is saved. He pulled out a newly purchased map and noted the town gate which leads to New Camelot City. It didn’t take many steps until he felt a tap behind his shoulder. The dragon turned around to face a person also wearing a rather suspicious outfit. His half concealed face made it apparent that he was from Lungolia.

“Hey tall guy, you mind sparing me some change? I need a few more gold in order to purchase some wares from this here shop,”

Now although he has trusted a homeless gravedigger, there was something about this particular being which gave the dragon a bad vibe. Examining his clothing a bit further, it turns out this one’s a thief! It was quite possible for him to be robbed then and there. Being aware of the fact that the town of Dalore isn’t very populated, this means he can run off in broad daylight with the things that were just paid for.

Give him 20 gold

“Uh, how much do you need exactly?” the dragon replied questioningly. The thief seemed to ponder about his demand for a while, but then came up with his answer and said it in a fairly devious tone.
   “Well, how about five-thousand?”
“What?! That’s all the money I have!”
“Oh, I guess you aren’t worth robbing then. Good for you I guess,”
The dragon wasn’t sure whether he was mad at his master for lying about how significant his loan was, or how he was going to get robbed either way. The thief chuckled as if he planned for the dragon’s reaction. He told the dragon he understood his monetary dilemma. Being a thief meant one could supply themselves with substantial income, as long as they didn’t get caught though. The dragon left, saying he was leaving for New Camelot City. Hearing this, the thief offered to lead him there and assumed such a poorly equipped being required a bit of assistance.

Chances are it's a trap, cautiously follow him, and never turn your back to him.

“I think I’d be able to get there unscathed, what’s the worse that could happen along the way?”
“I suppose you haven’t been on it much, but there are many monsters that frequently roam along the road. Though, these won't be the least of your worries since Eroc Thgink has his knights positioned there at several points. There’s nothing worse in my opinion than pissing those guys off, they don’t take kindly to those who they haven’t met.”
“And why should I trust you? We’ve only just met!”
The thief folded his arms and rolled his eyes. He looked directly at the cloaked dragon with his piercing eyes. Right then and there it didn’t seem like the hood made any difference that would’ve helped disguising the dragon at all. He spoke in almost a whisper.
“I know that you are not Dr. Agony.”
Revealing one’s identity is one thing, but having another figure it all on their own is another surprise itself. It couldn’t possibly have been the gravedigger who declared the existence of the dragon. Yet again, the thief seemed satisfied of what he said, feeding upon the nerve wrecking effect that the dragon displayed.
“I’m not a moron of course, I saw your pal get hauled off by those knights a while ago. I bet he has never told you that I was the one who took him to Lungolia and back.”
“You have an airship?!” the dragon flipped out. The thief shushed him, making sure that nobody overheard the conversation and said that both of them can save Dr. Agony if the dragon was willing to follow his instructions. Expecting the nod of approval, the thief who introduced himself as Marcus Leenin pointed out that he had a gang residing at their destination. Everything will be put into motion once they get there.

This thief is a badass, form a party with him and do everything you can to help him.

The first order of business however is to get the dragon out of the town without being detected. Now, if his wings were fully developed, he could just fly out of town. Unfortunately they were more like shoulder decorations for the while. The dragon already used his last invisibility potion, but remembered that there may be more back at his master’s abode. Marcus possessed the ability to lockpick, but any more time wasted would result in their friend’s untimely demise. An idea lit up in his head and he told the dragon his plan.

Marcus: "Since we do not have any Invisibility potions on us, we're going to have to do something more traditional.

Dragon: "Like what?"

Marcus: "Your choice, rooftop jumping to get over the wall, or finding a wagon for you to hide in while I carry it out."

Dragon: "Gee, both of those seem kinda hard. Can't a thief like you just turn into shadows at will?"

Marcus: "Now hold on, I'm a thief, not a ninja. And even so, I would have to find some way to take you with me as well. The last thing I would want to do is get Eroc Thgink's Army after me."
