Can't you just log in as one person on all your computers?

Also, you could just do it manually :P

1 I use so many accounts as are needed to post until main ones unbanned

2 Good luck having a huge script and manually remove 150000 spaces 2000 newlines and renaming 2000 variables

OT: Anyone?

This is an absolutely horrible idea.
It only makes it harder for new coders to use your code as a resource.

To make it harder for idiots who think they should change a and b and then c and then mess up everything and then complain it doesnt work
Guess what? People who do this are usually doing it as an attempt to learn.
And the people who want the add-on to do something slightly different are going to be making help threads because they can't understand wtf you're doing.

The only practical use for a minifier (that I know of) is to save a bit of bandwidth on very large webpages by minifying HTML/JS/CSS

There is no reason to obsfucate torquescript unless it's some sort of secure verification system. Just don't do it.

Generic reason: When you don't want people reading it.

  • verification system
  • [0] proprietary code

When you don't want people reading it.
People can read my IP too, should I obsfucate that?

Don't put something on the Internet or give it to someone if you don't want them reading it.

If it's a secure verification system then it NEEDS to stay secure, that's different.

Ok, I want a fully functional AI path finding script that can navigate through any maze with human like movements and human like memory, gogogo!

As far as Blockland add-ons go, I don't see a need for the former, and I think their might be some sort of license issues with the latter.
Besides, things like this you'd want compiled/encrypted, not simply minified.

it's not a question of them reading it, it's a question of-

wow forget WHOOSSSHHHH

i was gonna make the point of a kind of an authentication system, but that's basically the exact definition of a secure verification system.

A: it says pm me
B: if you actually want this (i know you don't want me doing it >.>) you better be ready to pay through the nose for something that's nigh-impossible
C: you get the guarantee when we make a deal, not once you throw an idea at me.

yes... true.
