I consider myself an agnostic atheist, I don't believe in god(s) but I'm pretty open minded about it and I could be convinced if given sufficient evidence/reasoning.

I believe religion has an important place in society, as it has established and in the past enforced good morals (that anybody including atheists would consider good).

I just don't appreciate when Christians say that Atheists are evil just because we don't allow a set of morals and values written four millennia ago to govern our lives. I feel as though many of these morals are universal. I'm not going to go out and commit Flash Mob for the express purpose of spiting the Bible. It's kind of a given that you shouldn't commit Flash Mob in the first place.

And those who say that Atheists are Satanists are just idiots and deserve a good hard whack with a frying pan.

Actually there were more discoveries before that, but since the Roman Catholic Church had to control everyone with a theocracy, ideas were suppressed.
