Looking for an "epic" game

Hey guys, I'm looking to find an epic game. Epic as in you fight gigantic ass monsters, that arent just "SPAM A TO KILL," and giant ass legions of monsters, where I have to use skill to triumph. From what I've seen about Darksiders II, it looks just like that, but I'm not quite sure yet.
Any suggestions?
