Yes. You can prestige a weapon up to two times. Once you get to the Max level on prestige 2, then it's just maxed out.

the only pistols that suck are the executioner and the default pistol. 3/5 pistols are good.

I prefer the .45 as well, but the pdw without a suppressor is the best.
