I just changed my datablock through console so I could have jets.

I found that Part 6 actually sped up the story a bit

Part 5 kind of got it started, but part 6 was the best part in my opinion

Hide under the pine tree until he walks by. Get up on the hill and shoot him when you're not detected.

I tried launching it and it wont start.
