Anyway, I don't really like using Hand-helds for browsing much.
My phone is annoying since I have to zoom in considerably to have a chance of selecting the right link when there are many close to each other, such as in the Forum Board Index.
And typing is quite horrible. It's too small, and it being a touch-screen means I can very easily press multiple things at once. And the auto-correcter is a bit naff. Sometimes it's perfect, othertimes it's dreadful.
And then there's the lack of tabs on it. If I see a link in a topic and I click it, I want to be able to quickly navigate between the two. Instead I have to read one, after letting it load, and then go back and wait for the topic to load some more. And if someone posts in the topic about something I missed in the link, then it takes even more time to go back and check it out again.
I was trying to post in a topic earlier today at College from my phone, but it was just being so stupid. Words were spelt wrong, despite going through it's predictive text/auto-correcter, and when I went to fix mistakes, it wouldn't let me get to half of the words. Clicking near them to move the "cursor" to them would set the cursor at them for a split-second, and then it would just glitch off to elsewhere, regardless of what I tried. I had to abandon that post in the end.
Using my 3DS for browsing is much better than the phone, since I have a better control over movement of the screen, and using the stylus I can accurately press links and type things without having to zoom in to have 1 word cover the entire screen.
But posting is a bit slow and images take a while to load.
And what I tend to use it for the most, which is accessing Wikia pages (Often for games I'm playing on the 3DS), it never loads the whole page properly for me.
Same sort of problems happened with my iPod Touch.
And the Wii is just dreadful, because really, who has the patience to wait so long for loading, and use the silly wiimotes to select each individual letter so slowly on the on-screen keyboard.
And then the PSP is also terribly slow. Can't say I've posted from it before though.
Overall, using a PC is just so much better. It's fast, accurate, I can edit any mistakes, I know when I've made mistakes and it doesn't make any stupid ones of it's own, and posting is perfectly fine on there.
If I ever find myself without a PC at hand, then I'll use a hand-held, but only if I have to. And usually only for quick-browsing.
If I had to rate the others in terms of ease of use, as far as I know then it would probably go something like this;
3DS, iPod Touch, PSP, My old Sony Ericcson phone, My current HTC phone, Nintendo Wii.
