MCXE is updating extremely fast compared to the pc version. Currently its at Beta 1.8.2. That's only a few updates behind the PC edition.
It'l be up to date within a few months, my estomate.

BEta 1.8.2 compared to 1.3.2 is... 1.9 Pre Releases-9 updates Both Release Candidates-2 updates 1.0, 1.1, 1.2-5 updates and 1.3-3 updates
21 updates away. Yes, "few updates behind"
