To someone with skills in scripting and eventing, it would be nice to have builders that you know you can hire cheaply that will do a good job to help you get the server you've been thinking of making up alot quicker than anything you could have done yourself.

Some people don't even want to build.

If someone buys a fancy TDM, they will want to host it.  Then everyone can save it at the server.

Yes it is and Badspot himself has said that he can't/won't remove the client side saving function. So buying a build is worthless if you can't host it. And even if it was a single player experience you would still need to distribute the save.

I really think the purpose of blockland is to enjoy builds
To enjoy a build, someone needs to build it
Does it really matter who built it, as long as appropriate credit is given and as long as the build is enjoyed?

I'm actually somewhat interested by the idea of buying builds.. as a scripter who doesn't build I can't find anyone willing to create TDM/CTF/Etc maps.

I'll see how it goes.
