I've done it with so many of my playertypes (both dragons from the dragon pack are good examples).

Yup, equipping a gun with them in FPS makes a nice, DooM style bobbing :D

--- Quote from: Chrono on October 01, 2012, 09:35:06 PM ---I uh, went in third person with view bobbing off. The player does not bob at all.
The legs and arms pivot forward and back, that's all.

So even though first person is from the head, your reasoning for the bobbing still doesn't make sense.

It's just for the effect.

Tell me where it says "player" in view bobbing.

Oh my god, man, 60% of my gameplay is in 3rd person, i think i'd know.

Did you even try to do this?!

Probably not, so, I'll just record it.

Jesus, I've been playing the game long enough, I think I'd know what I'm talking about.

Neither does the fact that when in first person you always have view of your player's right arm, while in third person they are at your sides.

Congratulations for proving Chrono's point! His exact argument was that the head doesn't move.

The player doesn't bob unless you have view bobbing on.

Did you even watch the video?
The player doesn't move when view bobbing is off, which is what I was saying the whole time.

When view bobbing is on the player moves from left to right in a bobbing motion. Incase you didn't know, the head happens to be a part of the player.
