How many TDMs actually have more than two teams?

This is the real reason

That's the problem, the gimmick was that it had four teams. It needs more interesting points beyond the number of teams.

The TDM concept started out as Red vs. Blue. There were only two teams, so that idea has stuck for years. Some do Red vs. Blue vs. Yellow vs. Green like the Windows colors, so some are 4 teamed.
My brother is making a 3 team TDM. He wants it to be "original".
Hey it's just a guess I seriously don't know.

There is almost no benefit from adding more than two teams except novelty. If a TDM had an interesting element that worked best with more than two teams, then the TDM might get players.
