Author Topic: Windows 8 on school laptops.  (Read 3084 times)

here's something to do when you've got nothing to do:

1. get one of the iPads
2. open the Maps app
3. type in "Hoover Dam" or any other large national monument
4. turn on 3D mode
5. laugh
What happens, my ipod map app doesn't have 3d .~.

My school has mac computers at every seat there is at this table, and it also has a currency system in the cafeteria where you can add money to your account, and when you're at the cashier, you just scan your card. loving love it.

My school used to use Windows 98 until about 2007, now they use XP. The laptops however use 7.

Our school is still using Windows XP with Windows 95 backgrounds.

Because their too cheap to upgrade the damn things.

We had this grant that got us all, 6-9 grade, laptops with windows 7. Next year they are selling these laptops and getting Windows 8.

What's all this school laptop buisness. When I went to school you only brought paper, and if you needed a computer you were either a computer class, in the library/computer lab. Those computer at our school were desktops and used Windows XP with the grey classic theme.

My school's computers look like they're windows 64, but they're actually Windows 7, which is quite nice.
