Why does everyone think that the only thing the Torque Game engine can do is have a player hop around? It's really good for such a cheap engine (not including Unity 3D). The graphics were fine (at the time). Plus, if something is not possible, Eric Hartman is free to change it around and MAKE it possible. Things like mirrors have existed for the longest times, but they were removed due to them being inefficient at processing the mirrored image (it would render the whole scene twice) |

No, no, Torque really is pretty silly. I think mostly you only know how silly it can be once you get into actually working with it. It's decent, it's just really silly sometimes. |

The netgraph is a really useful tool and very easy to debug with. In fact, the ghost updates line hit the bits received line which means there are too many things in the map moving around. Just a thing I like about the engine. |
