Torque is not a piece of crap
heedicalking:
imagine how awesome it could be. there could be client-server synced brick physics, and we could launch bricks and catch them in giant nets.

Regardless, you don't need to have "massive amounts of knowledge on the Torque Engine" to know Blockland doesn't need to be ported to another engine. It wouldn't be worth the time, money and bug fixes.

Seems you didn't fully read my post. It would be worth the time and money if he would of made the switch earlier in this game's development. With all of the work he has already put into it, mine as well stay where he's at.

What point specifically? The only reasonable time I can think of is before it was majorly overhauled and went retail. Either way, I doubt he thought about switching to a different engine since at the time there was barely a point considering it was just a basic lego building game.

This is what I'm saying as well

I asked two questions, nowhere am I leading up on how Blockland should change its engine. I asked what WOULD have been a better option at the time when Badspot was first developing Blockland (v0002) (if you understand English, WOULD is past tense and does not mean NOW). The second question I asked was why Badspot picked that engine of all others if everyone here is saying that it is bad, meaning that there was a particular reason Badspot chose Torque over other engines, I don't know what it was, maybe its could at handling a lot of bricks, or maybe Badspot was familiar with it already. That was what I was trying to find out. Your idiotic brain decided that if I say anything with the words "Blockland" and "engine" I am referring to my topic made several months ago asking if it would be possible to put Blockland on Torque 3D and if there are good benefits/advantages.
If you haven't noticed yet, everything I have asked/said is to inform myself.
